I brought a package of salted bamboo shoots back from Shanghai, China trip. I use some of the bamboo shoots made this delicious stew tonight. You may never used this salted bamboo shots in your cooking before, if you want to try it, make sure you sock it in water first, and rise it several times to get rid of excess salt, and don’t put too many bamboo shoots in your stew or you may get a pot of dish too salty to eat.
