Our first night at French Quarter. Knowing nothing about this area, Alan and I walked around the blocks blindly, trying to find a decent but not expensive restaurant for our first dinner experience in this well-known place.
 
When we walked by a restaurant called "Crescent City Brewhouse", we decided to take this one... Alan went for it's own brews... I went for it's rustic decor.
 
So we sat down, started with an-appetizer-of-must, in New Orleans, fresh oysters, of course.
 
Then..Alan ordered Red Fish St.Louis, I ordered a dish we never had before in our lives... Softshell Crab Capri... oh .. my .. what a wonderful dish!
 
While I am sitting here, nearly two months later, in Tampa, FL, writing these words above... I am mouth watering. I wish right now... I could sit back to that table again and order another plate of Softshell crab.
