My American Parents digital scrapbook design

                with_bob_sue_scrapbook_digital_design
Bob,Sue and I first time met online was in 2000 when I was in China. Our relationship has been continuing since then. They are my American parents, always treat me with love, patience. I learned a lot from them.

Whoever said digital scrapbooking would take less time might never designed one. I actually found out digital scrapbooking could take days of work as I had to make all the materials from scratch.

2005 digital Christmas Card blue version

 2005_christmas_digital_handmade_greeting_card_blue
I have been sleeping a lot recently... somedays I even slept over 12 hours. It seems my body is trying to catch up the hours I have owed her in the past.

Tonight we received our first greeting card of this Christmas from Dan & Lisa who are friends of us living in Oregon (a state in Northwest). I said to myself... I gotta to make the Christmas cards now before it's too late.

How did I make this card? As you can tell from the picture above, it seems not too complicated to make. I used a photo which I took of our Christmas tree last night.

This is a picture of close up shot on ornaments from our this year's Christmas tree (we set up and decorated our Christmas tree on last Sunday). But I feels this photo would be too busy if it was applied on the greeting card. So I stylized the color to a calm blue version. Does it look better to you?

The following step I will need to do is either print it out or email it as ecard.
