
Had Takoyaki twice in China 7 years ago, from street vendors. They were funny looking and quite tasty. Decided to make this Japanese style puff pancakes at home after I purchased a Aebleskiver Pan.
After a busy 30 minutes working in the kitchen, I had a dozen of perfect Takoyaki, they even tasted better than those ones I had in my memory.

Cauliflower is my most favorite vegetable, love its taste when stir fried with thinly sliced pork. Cauliflower itself doesn't have much flavor, but it absorbs the fat and flavor from the pork stir fried with. If cooked right, the texture of the Cauliflower is crispy but not raw, nor overcooked and become mushy. This requires some experiences. I have prepared this dish so many times.. that I dare to say.. I do better than anyone else I have known.. including my mother.

This afternoon, I made myself a bowl of colorful noodle soup... homemade rice noodle, topped with homemade soy sauce marinated eggs; roasted red bell peppers and a roll of passion pink Korean fish cake.
So, I was having this bowl of juicy colors, in our lanai, under a vibrant blue blanket of sky, then the heaven wasn't too far away.
