Why to create the photoblog: I have been taking pictures almost everyday since I came to the States in 2003. I am proud of some pictures I took and edited, I love to share the enjoyable moments in our lives with my families, friends and you our visitors. Special thanks to my hubby Alan who has always been there to support me and help me to make the website work better.
 
What cameras have I been using:
My new babe: Canon EOS 7D with 28-135mm f/3.5-5.6 IS USM Standard Zoom Lens (and later I bought Sigma 18-250mm f/3.5-6.3 DC OS HSM IF Lens ) for pictures took after Nov, 2009.
 
Canon Digital Rebel XSi 12.2 MP Digital SLR Camera (Black Body Only) with a great all purpose travel lens - Canon EF-S 18-200mm f/3.5-5.6 IS Standard Zoom Lens.

Canon S50 for pictures took before 2006... Nikon cool pix 775 for pictures took from 2003 to 2004 (some 2002 pictures too)... Fuji 260 for pictures took from 2002 to 2003 (some pictures were took from a 35mm camera)
 
However I have to say, a good quality of camera is important, but more important to me, is the ability to edit photos in digital darkroom.
 
What is FromChinatoUSA Forum: It is a Chinese forum I designed and set up at the end of the year of 2004. The purpose of setting up this forum is to provide a friendly and peaceful backyard for girls in the States who married over from China.
 
After four years of hard work and made friends along the way, On Nov22, 2008, I closed this forum, because I could no longer contribute my energy and time to this forum, the responsibility of managing this forum had consumed my life away. I decided to pull myself out of this type of online society, instead... to live my rest of life in a real world. I am glad that I was able to step out before I could gone too far and could been too late.
 
How do I learn to take photos and edit photos even more so to design and build websites: I learned all the things in a self taughted way. I have spent numorous hours on the computer to learn and improve myself in this field.
