commentsIt's nice to have your reply :) and it surprised me that you found them in grandma's closet :):) but they are really very nice shells which are hard to find these days I think :):)
Sad to know you two are moving to Florida, cause we were even thinking about visit you two when we got several days off, we are pretty near to you if you are still here :( Will you move back in the future? :):)
You got so many beautiful pictures on the website :):) and I love animals either, I got two cats and two birds:):) I have another cat in China, my parents are taking care of him, and it's so happened, he was a wild cat either, he came to us when he was so little.
Good luck with your new hom and our best wishes here :):)

commentsthey are really very large shells, and I am studying them, the first one looks like conch shell, and the bottom one looks like a fluted giant clam shell(tridacna) I am curious where you found these? Cause we will visit Florida in the future and would really want to pick up some shells like that:)
- WOW Davter... you are so knowledgeable on the shells!
...well, we found them in grandma's closet.

...they said they got them from a flee market when they were living in TX.
...Yes, we wish we can find shells like that on beaches too, so far, no results.
BUT!... We saw people sell huge shells in Key West , price was from $15 to
$1,000 for one shell. good luck in your shelling
